4 ft. Fiberglass Step Ladder $17 +tax w/free in-store pickup at Home Depot, YMMV

Just for reference, I got these for $9.99 + SH the last time around (about 3 weeks ago?). It was an online price only, but I went to the store and spoke with Customer Service. They put me on the line with an internal web-store agent and they waived the shipping costs... I paid $9.99 + tax, shipped free. Awesome deal, I got two and they shipped to my house.

OP's deal is still good, but I wanted to let everyone know that they were less recently.

I'm skeptical of this. I don't believe that this item is always available for $17. Maybe this is a special order for Black Friday/Cyber Monday, which is why there isn't any other price history.

Do a price match/beat at Lowes

Such a good deal and they still have plenty at a store on my way home from work.

But I just don't need one right now and I already bought the two-foot platform from Lowes. Ahhhhhh!!!!


EDITED: Well I just got home and my wife wants the ladder. And since I have to go to FedEx to pickup the refured iPod I bought (thanks to Slickdeals) last week, it's just too convenient to pick up the ladder on the way. I'm just a sucker for a good deal, I guess.

Depends upon the job. Safer and more stable to use whenever you are tempted to simply use a chair or stool. Easier to use or carry to jobsites when you don't need a 6 or 8 footer that takes up too much space.

Platform ladders can be handy for painting a room or as a small work table. IMO the Gorilla platform ladder from HD BF is not as well designed as the Werner version which I picked up at Lowes BF
