A Noob question but does it make a difference if the dealer is authorised or not?
We will still have a valid Canon USA Warranty as mentioned in teh advertisement. Am I missing anything?
I think Canon usually asks for proof of purchase and if the seller is not on their authorized list they have a right to refuse the warranty (grey market items). As I haven't gone through this process before someone else might be able to chime in with a better answer.
I can't access to the ebay (at work) so I don't know if this item is grey market or not. I've read it before when doing the research for my T2i, the grey market won't get warranty from USA canon. You get it from the seller though.
