i got the rosewill today, anyone test it out yet?

i liked the tp-link better but i returned it, as the size was more compact, this comes in a brown box, i guess all rosewill do, i had version 1.0 listed on mine

I got them both today and am keeping both. I want maximum ports.

I agree the TP is smaller and nicer, the RW seems a bit cheap. I like that the RW has a fan, the TP is fanless.

I was joking earlier in the thread about both being made in the same factory, but if you look closely you'll find that the rubber feet used in both are identical and the power cords, which are a bit unusual, are identical too. Coincidence? I don't think so. I'm tempted to open them up to check if the insides are identical.

open it up bro.

man if i knew tp was fanless i would have kept that as i needed one without fan, from the pics it looked like both had fans.

I'd rather not, I might need the warranty. The fan isn't very loud, and I think it's better for the system to have a fan. The v1.0 of the TP has a fan, this is a later version.
