This is an awesome price. I have one and it charges my Asus Transformer Infinity fully one time. It's a great gift for someone who travels a lot or is away from an outlet.

Yup, you are correct. It would be a hassle for me to carry around the AC adapter to charge the Astro 3. I was referring to this one (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00A7W590C) for the MINI usb nonsense.

Has anybody actually found these useful? Wouldn't it be easier to just bring a charger with you and find an outlet? The only time I could see this coming in handy would be camping.

The 9v - 12v switching option came in handy for me as my Asus Transformer tablet needs at least a 11v input to be able to charge it. If you are only planning on using this thing to charge small stuff, then you can go with the 3E. Since it also charges at 3amp, it would charge your component faster than the 2amp Astro 3.

I actually don't own this one (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00A7W590C), but I have been watching the price for a couple of days. I think the one review on Amazon is fake because it's worded almost exactly like a review on one of their other one-review items.

I ended up purchasing this battery pack (http://slickdeals.net/f/5585990-D...29-99-2-99) because it has everything that I'm looking for (micro USB input for recharging, enough amps to charge most tablets and smartphones, LED lights to indicate how much of a charge is left) even though the capacity isn't the best out there.
