Has Logitech been good about repairing them? Having to pay return shipping on a sizable headset multiple times sounds like it would blow. I've only heard good things about Logitech's support, so I hope for the best.

Considering 1SAD does not allow cancellations or returns, I guess this cannot affect my decision, but I'm still curious.

What USB headsets have you used that do not let you listen to audio and use the mic at the same time? I've heard issues with misconfigured Bluetooth, but never with USB.


As for these they rely on your audio card, so you wouldn't have this problem. The issue is that you'll need a wire going from the headset to your mic port if you want to use the headset mic.
I own a pair of the G930's and G35's, which are both USB, and can confirm that you are able to listen to audio and use the mic at the same time.

I can only speak from my experience of the G930's and G35's, but the design is one of the most comfortable and the sound quality is what you would expect for the price. I would recommend any of those two, but the F540's are probably best for console gamers due to need to have a wire connected to make use of the microphone.

If you are looking to use them solely with a PC, I would get a set of G930's.

Logitech is great - they don't question anything and all shipping is paid. Outside of warranty (3 headsets later), you have to get creative.

Really?? I was hopping it doesn't because I have a keyboard mouse adapter for the xbox, the Eagle Eye Converter and it does not use the controller so I do not have anything plug the chat cable. I thought the chat will connect similar to the one piece headset.

So technically this is not wireless.

Thanks! Need this for my ps3 and xbox so I think the F540 will be better! Unfortunately they are both in two different rooms so I don't think that would help since there is only 1 hub.
