U should check out the prices with your dates. My ticket to kuala lumpur was at least $200 cheaper than next lowest price from other airlines.

I fly overseas about twice a year, but I wouldn't if it was on my dime lol. 13 hour flight costs more, in time, than I would accept with any other cost.
I also prefer Emirates over Qatar air (which really sucks BTW)

I plan on trying the Turkish airline, if I travel that far on my dime. they had a 2-way flight to the middle east for $1000 a couple of months ago

I already booked my tickets to SIN so I'm glad prices are about the same on this deal. May have been cool to have a long layover in Dubai just to get a quick tour of the city though.
