walmart will charge you .....same thing happened to us and the charged showed up a month and a half later. My bank told me they are the worse company they have to deal with on charging when they want and they have more problems with bad charges from them and they NEVER give the money back they make the bank take the hit even when accounts get hacked.

Same thing happened with me, with the Wii U Bundle except they haven't charged me for anything yet. Probably because they botched the bundle and they perhaps don't charge until it has all shipped. Or partially shipped. I don't know. They sent me the Wii U System, New Super Mario Bros U. One arrived by FedEx, one arrived by UPS Innovations. Then they sent me Zombi U via FedEx but it never arrived to me. Tracking said delivered at door, nothing and I was at home when it "arrived". No doorbell, no knock. Nothing outside my door (or perimeter). I contacted FedEx who were a waste of time. Walmart must have this problem from time to time because they did a "we can cancel your order for the game or send a replacement". But I have to sign a waiver pledging that I'll return the original in a pre-paid mailer if it shows up. I agreed. Initially I asked for a replacement but then when I was told it would take 10 days for a replacement before it was shipped, I said forget that. I told them to cancel, which they did. Then I bought it from Gamestop. Finally the Wii U Pro Controller, part of the pre-ordered bundle. I pre-ordered it one month before release. The Wii U Pro Controller Sold out or as Walmart says "We weren't sent enough stock". Ok so it sold out Walmart. Finally it appeared they got some more stock in. They put it into processing and by the time it was supposed to arrive, it still hadn't even shipped. So I told them, forget it, cancel that too. They agreed. Most of my games don't even use the Pro Controller anyway. Still haven't charged me for the Wii U system or New Super Mario Bros U yet though. I imagine they will, although they did the pre-auth 5 weeks ago. Plus my card, needed a number change recently. But they'll probably still be able to charge it due to the Pre-Auth. What a mess it was though. At least I got the system, that was the most important thing.

Why are people using debit cards for purchases when overdrafts are a real concern to them?
Makes no sense. If your credit is bad, get a secured or student card so you can rebuild it. And you won't have to worry about overdrafts again. |

Authorization is original purchase order. If debit card is closed, Merch svc comapany will charge the closed card. the bank will be notified and will either 1) force the charge through on the closed card as a prior authorized transaction, or 2) pass it through on the new card. If the account is closed the bank will return the transaction as closed account. At this point it is the retailer to file a judgement. At this point the retailer will not (too much time/money) |

They did charge me but refunded me for the the wii system. The rep i spoke to said the system crashed of bfriday and everything got screwed up. They charged me double then refunded me . Since they screwed up my account so bad the lady just refunded me half of the order. So this is closed case free $400 from Walmart. all money has been refunded and I have a email in writing for the return.
If they try and charge me again I am sure I can sue them specially since I have a refund email from them. Last edited by Jc02; 12-09-2012 at 10:40 PM.. |
