It's compatible with the Unifying Receiver [custhelp.com] that my K360 slickdeals keyboard came with. Sweet, in for one.

I would be very wary of purchasing this item from 1 Sale a Day. I purchased another Logitech mouse from them and it was missing the unified receiver. When I informed no-Customer Service they said they could not find one so just return the item. I was faced with paying 2 shipping charges and receiving nothing for my money.

Pass because it's refurbished
Logitech has a problem with wear and tear on computer mice. The copper in the buttons wear down so you get double clicks. Yeah, you can download mousefix to "fix" the problem but it's not really fixed when using the program because all it does is prevent a "double click" if the mouse registers the certain event. In other words, you'll still occasional double clicks. I heard you can blow air underneath the buttons for a temp fix and that seems to be an actual temp fix but looks like you can't do it with this certain mouse. (The double clicking is also a problem with Microsoft mice as well.) You kind of expect they sell the stuff that's usually subpar. Last edited by douglasr007; 11-27-2012 at 04:25 PM.. Got this mouse from 1saleaday but cant get it to work by plug-and-play. emailed them and they issued a refund. Asked them if there's an address to send it back, they said just keep it.
THEN, today I tried googling the problem and found that somehow it needs a software/driver update : Step 1) : Download the driver located here : http://logitech-en-amr.custhelp.c...connection Step 2) Copy - Paste (Run) the following address in your WINDOWS EXPLORER's address bar : C:\Program Files\Logitech\SetPointP\ConnectUtility.exe Step 3) The mouse should work perfectly after step (2). Somehow, running the steps above updates the driver in the mouse/receiver. I plug-and-play it on another computer and it works without needing to re-do the above steps. Before, I cant get it to work on any of my computers that I plugged it into. worth the hassle of gettin a free Logitech wireless mouse. Last edited by ssskom; 01-05-2013 at 10:02 PM.. |
