Yep, they sell the mounts on Mitsu.com. I got mine hanging on the wall and its nothing short of beautiful.

Don't see the mounts listed on the mitsubishi tv website and I don't think they sell them. This is not a thin tv and doesn't have mounting holes on the back.

Adding a little more to this thread. I checked today and the TV is being sent from DFW to MCI, so its flying from Dallas to Kansas City. Then it will be put on a truck on its way to the Topeka area. Imagine if we had to pay for shipping directly as opposed to having it built into the cost.

I have a 50" panasonic plasma set couple years old and wanted to see how far the DLP tech came along.

I was dissapointed in the following areas:
- PQ was dull and poor
- further from the center of the screen became darker and darker
- forget about putting the tv anywhere near a window or lit area, reflects everything
- I the bowing effect

If your trying to decide between say a 60" panny plasma vs this 73" Mitsu DLP for ~$800 price point, I highly suggest going with the 60" panny plasma. the only thing going for the DLP is the size.

That 60" Panny Plasma is going to be a sh%t-ton more reflective than this matte screen DLP. What model of DLP did you have? I had a 65" DLP and didn't notice any bowing. Picture wasn't "dull and poor" either.

I actually canceled my Panasonic.com plasma order and decided to go back to DLP. I couldn't deal with going smaller than what I had. I have also seen alot of complaints about image retention with Panasonic Plasmas this year, although some people are saying that they don't have a problem with it. Some also are complaining about line bleed being pretty noticeable on the 60u50.

Does anyone know if the AMEX promotion will work with this?

To think about how shock and awed i was when I saw how big 73" was in my living room, imagine 92"..lol

Do it. I did it. Other people are doin' it. It's big and beautiful. No ghosting, flashlighting, clouding, light leakage, line bleed, image retention, or burn in. And how else can you get that in 73 inches at $800?

I don't have a Discover card so I don't know about Shopdiscover but I went through m r r e b a t e s and got $40 cashback so it will be a tiny bit over $800 after taxes.

So I'm pretty tempted by this TV after selling my old plasma. I'd like to do this little Shopdiscover deal I've heard talk about, but I don't have a Discover card (can't apply for one either due to lack of credit), however I know someone with a Discover card. Would it be possible to log into Shopdiscover with his login, but PAY for the giftcards with my own debit card?

No you can't. You have to use a discover card to get the cb.
