PayPal giving away $5 free to spend at Jamba Juice - exp. 12/31/2012

Paypal is one huge fail! I went to Jumba Juice today and tried to use my Paypal card, the cashier couldn't get it work. She asked another cashier about it, and she said that Paypal card never work! This location is on the participation list of this promotion.

People who are responsible of this promotion in Paypal should be fired, one huge fail for Paypal card.

I had to call paypal to have them credit me $5.

CS said I did everything right but it didn't work the way it should be.

Mine processed automatically & I bought a $5 gift card. I got the notification e-mail within seconds after the transacation. I made sure my location was on the list & I used a physical PayPal card if that makes a difference. No pin was required @ Jamba when I used the physical card unlike @ Home Depot where I had to enter in my pin, but maybe that was because I used the Self-Checkout @ HD. Also I don't think Jamba has a keypad as the cashier swiped my card directly into the register card reader. I'm in Northern California, Bay Area if that makes a difference.

I've sent them an email. My charge is still listed as pending for -4.89

One jamba juice store said they cannot accept my paypal card because their system for processing them is down.

I used my PayPal card at the Jamba Juice in the Union Square NYC location last week. Spent $5.43, transaction is still listed as pending. Talked to a PayPal rep today who said the transaction is listed as "pending" because Jamba Juice hasn't done their part in completing the transaction. The rep said PayPal automatically puts the money back into our accounts if Jamba Juice doesn't do anything with it after a few days (so I haven't been charged), but to expect at some point that Jamba will charge me the $0.43. Said that they have people working with Jamba to help them figure it out (said there were no problems with PayPal promos like this at Home Depot or ToysRUs).

This happened to me, but the jamba juice cashier was really cool and accepted responsibility and just gave me my order free of charge. Apparently hardly anyone uses paypal and most workers dont know what it is or how to use it.

Use my card at JJ today. No problems. Now... how long to wait before I call PP to complain about not getting a credit?

it charged my cc $5 instead of the credit (bought on the last day 12/31 and it posted the charge on my cc today). I had to call paypal and after being transferred 3 times got them to give me $5 is paypal credit for the next time I buy something...

Same here, I got 1 for free, the $5 is on the card and I don't know how to use it. In any case I got my $5 worth
