I just wanted to say that I bought this system during this sale, and I have been extremely impressed with the build quality, craftsmanship, and audio quality of these speakers, coupled with the pioneer SC-1222-K receiver. The receiver is great too. A little hard to figure out, but that is because of an abundance of settings. At first I was going to buy a Bose home theater system from Costco that was already 1000.00 after tax, but it came with such small lightweight speakers, it felt like a joke.

Then I encountered this post. I didn't buy this package based on other peoples comments, or based on the price. I bought it because of my own experiences with Klipsch. My first home theater had Klipsch Synergy Quintet III, and they were small, but very heavy speakers and sounded amazing . I bought it also because my favorite night club in Universal Orlando (Bob Marleys) use Klipsch speakers, and the reggae and bass is always so pure. In fact, the whole Universal Studios uses Klipsch speakers everywhere.

They arrived via UPS, 7 boxes. Well packed. I got my speaker wire from Mono price. In wall 12 gauge wire. After I set everything up, I tested a few scenes from scenes from The Dark Knight Rises. WOW.. it hits so hard my neighbor told me he can hear the speakers and sub rumble. And I live in a single family brick home with homes a minimum of 24' apart.

I want to mention at very lower volumes, like playing classical music while I'm coding, the sound is still great, although some picky audiophile might claim that cheaper systems will put out similar sound. While this may be true at lower volume, crank this bad boy up, and its a different story. It seems these speakers are meant to be cranked up all the time.

The horn on the speakers really bring out those voices and noises I never knew were there. Overall, its the best $$$$ I've spent for an audio system that should last me for a lifetime.
