I tried to do the rebate for it online and it wasn't available anymore. Any idea on how-to? That would really be slick and I think my TV is on the way.

They seem to be good with rebates. I have submitted multiple rebates in the last few months and didn't find any problems so far.

The TV deal was having the seiko 32" cancelled by sears.

I got the 42" tcl for 179 and it's not bad at all. This is a decent price for the size and features.

All the nightmares with TD rebates come from years ago when TD didn't have their act together. Some people will never let that go. TD is just fine with rebates now. Even back in the day I never got screwed over by their rebates, but I also took the proper precautions and mailed everything certified mail (as you should with shady companies).

But now, I wouldn't worry about the rebates at all. Just follow their clearly displayed instructions for rebate submittal and you'll get them back every time.
