You can get cash, but you have to accumulate 25,000 points to get a 1:1 redeem ratio ($250). I reached it once by taking advantage of its 5pts/$1 promotions and combining pts from two accounts.

You are better off taking the cash deal. 2500 points is $25 cash anyways.

hmm I have got 11K points in my account in which 5K were added thru their promo (spend $500 and get 5K points). I am not sure if any of these cards are worthy or should I just get $80 cash with 10K points. Any suggestions?

Thanks, redeemed for a Lands' End gift card. The redemption ratio for this credit card is poor, but I stick with it because of their frequent 5% cash rebate specials. I only use the card when the rebate special is running until I've hit the maximum rebate. That way the points I accumulate are just gravy.

Here is what I found. I have a BofA Power Rewards card. I think it might be different from the World Points? However, I have the same exact deals of 40% off gift cards. But why buy those when I can use my points for cash to my account. I just redeemed $75 for 7500 points. Here is the proof. I think it is because of "power rewards" whatever that means. They all seem to be the same thing. A credit card with no annual fee, giving back 1,2 or 3% back in points depending on where you spend money.

EDIT: Is there an advantage to "world points" as opposed to "power rewards?" Also, if power rewards gives better offers, might as well make the switch if world points does not seem advantageous in any way.

It only becomes 1:1 after 25000 points. I have a little over 45000 points, so I am thinking of taking the cash offer. Are there any other better deals?
