Subway - $2 subs - December's Customer Appreciation Month - YMMV

I work at a Subway, and I can confirm this deal. That article was for last year, but Subway is repeating the deal this December.

Only sad part, afaic, is that the deal doesn't start until DECEMBER 1st. I needed a fast food fix last night - and discovered to my chagrin that the deal is NOT live until December 1.

I ended up eating a MickyD double cheeseburger. If'n this is gonna digress into a diatribe against Subway - just imagine that as an alternative.

C'mon - everyone knows there are other, better, options. But if I have 20 minutes between a funeral visitation and a gig - I don't have TIME. On my route, I had Subway, Little Ceasers, and McD. I would have gladly snagged a meatball sub for $2.

I saw a subway flier that confirms this. It came with the grocery store ads and other junk in my mail. I ll try post a screenshot of it tonight.

I love the meatball marinara, with peppers and onions. The cold cut isn't too bad as well.

I always love seeing the commercial with bo dietl for arbys. Where he drops a meat slicer off at a Subway, makes me chuckle a little every time.

The subway near my college was just so farking dirty. i wouldn't eat there if it was free. the employees handle money with gloves on, and when i looked at his hand he was like "oops and took the glove off" another time i saw some black dots on the sliced tomatoes which he put into my sandwich. The place was pretty run by Indian people, the way those guys handle there food...barf.

Also got food poisoning there once.

This is a good price for a below mediocre sandwich selection. But either way, I'll believe this deal when I see it. Here in the Bay Area, most (if not all) Subways are ran by Indians or Asians that are soo damn cheap. Last time I filled out one of those surveys on the bottom of the receipt (acquired a code) to get a free cookie on my next visit, the owner said he does not accept those at his location. I made the purchase from his location too lol. I couldn't do anything but just laugh. Then there are the multiple times where I was turned down because they didn't take part in the special event deals.

makes me uncomfortable just to go in. Strange that they would choose the hospitality industry.
