Frys: LG 60PA6500 60" Class 1080p 600Hz Plasma TV $689 + tax YMMV

When I just could not get the blacks to be blacks with this TV in spite of hours of calibration effort, I started doing more research and figured out that this is a known limitation of LG plasmas (especially the cheaper ones). Fantastic and Horrible can be both relative terms. When I compare the quality of my LG plasma to my friend's Samsung or Panasonic the difference is extremely evident to even others (not just me, I'm anyway pretty anal when it comes to PQ). One of the reasons for the poor black levels in LG plasmas and some other cheapest quality plasmas is that they use a gray panel (not a black panel). There is a good reason LG plasma TVs have been selling this cheap over the past few years - You get what you pay!! I unfortunately realized it after paying

You should double-check the pricing matter. My previous Fry's experiences has always been that you're charged whatever the current price is at the time of pick-up. This has been told to me by Fry's associates as well as the experience of other SD'ers.

You'll notice that when you place an online order for store pick-up, there's never any hold or authorization placed on your credit card for the amount. That's because they don't charge you until you pick-up and pay the then current price.

Package dimensions for the TV are: 60.8" x 37.4" x 11.2"

Went to Schaumburg IL BB to view TV and request a price match for $689 but it was declined as after a call by BB salesman to Fry's store in Downers grove IL he was told they were out of stock.
So basically BB will not price match for Out of Stock item and would lose money on this TV if they sold it for 689
