Thanks, Just got a new LED and bought a Roku player. The Hulu site is only offering a 1 week trial, I've seen 2 somewhere but a month is much better.

Yeah, Hulu Plus has ads. With Hulu Plus you will get access to certain content that is not available on the free web version. You will also be able to stream it in HD quality on other devices like Roku, Xbox 360, PS3, Wii U, Blu-ray players, and HDTVs.

I hate ads too, but they aren't that bad. Well for me at least. Usually 1 or 3 short ads for each break. Cable or satellite TV costs a lot more and has much longer commercials, so I guess it's better than that. Supposedly there are ads still because current content is more expensive than older content typically found on Netflix or Amazon Prime Instant Video.

Hulu comes in handy if want to watch current content. Typically shows are available the next day after it airs.

I don't pay for it myself. I get it for free using Bing Rewards.

I found there are more ads when I watch TV content (at least 180 secs ) compared to movies (1 ad in the beginning ).

Ad-free kids' shows are a definite must to keep them occupied.

Hulu Plus has no idea what it sells. Consumers are totally confused by it. And savvy tech people get no use out of it, because any HTPC using the free Desktop App with a free Hulu membership far outperforms the Hulu Plus app in any "smart TV," PS3, etc. Essentially, that overpriced monthly subscription buys you back episodes of old TV shows.

Is there a way not to auto renew?

Is it required to have same email id for BB Rewards zone and Hulu plus?

how does it determine if you're a new subscriber or not? email address? by credit card #? or by actual address?
