Thanks OP. I bought one for a FreeNAS server I'll build in the next few months. I'll be using RAIDZ2 with 6 drives, which will fit perfectly in this case.

Anyone have advice for power supply for a file server with 6 drives? Is 400W enough?

400w is overkill, I'm running an AMD FX8150 8 core with 24gb of ram and 8 drives+1ssd with a 450w. HDD only consume 10-20w each, newer drives use even less. If I have an Intel Processor I could probably get away with a 300w PSU.

I just coincidentally built a 6 drive raidz2 server with this case as well

The idle power for my setup is 68W but as you know the highest power draw occurs at power on so 350W should be enough. I went with 400W since it was the lowest output with highest 80plus rating I could find.

BTW, I tried NAS4Free and its not bad but I found it to have a lot of browsing lag over samba and slow transfer speed (100MB/s write but only 80MB/s read). Because of this (especially the browsing speed), I switched to OpenIndiana + Napp-IT which gives me 100+MB/s write and 100MB+/s read with virtually no lag. It could be my setup but just throwing in my 2c.
