Good deal but your net cost after the gift card will be $199, not $159. The fine print on the $40 credit says you pay for activation on your first bill, then you get the activated fee ($40) credited back within a couple more billing cycles, so it's basically $299-$100 wm gc with free activation.

Just make sure if / when you order, you don't mind waiting. The "official" launch date on VZ is 11/29, and Wal*mart doesn't have stock to get it in your hands on launch date. Most people don't mind waiting a few days or even weeks to save a few bucks (esp. not SD'ers!) but for those who MUST have it on launch day, this isn't the deal you have been seeking.

this sounds like a good deal. I can't leave AT&T until May 2013. I hope something like this will be around then or maybe the price will be cheaper at Verizon by then.
