No go for me either. Checked both Home Depot and Cheesecake Factory and both are regular points. Must have something to do with your account type or level. Wish it was good. Thanks OP.

If you click the link under either Home depot or Cheesecake it will say was 2500 points , now 2125 points (15% off). This was without being logged in so it is not based on my account. The "main" link I posted has the breakout by discount amount as well and then you click the retailer. It should work for you guys!

Sorry, OP. Don't see it. I even logged in. I see discounts on merchandise, but not gift cards.

I tried to go onto a new browser with IE that I never use and you must log in to get the discounts. Updated main thread and included screenshot.

It is probably targeted. I had to login to see it. I do see 2125. Without login it was 2500.

American Express has been a great disappointment in 2012:
1. The page with additional click through rewards is gone. You are limited to the point per dollar rate 2. No more gift cards at the 1% reward rate. 5 000 reward points used to buy you a $50 gift card from Home Depot, Old Navy and others. Now it is only a $25 card from a choice of three merchants. what a disappointment, I hardly ever use the card anymore and when I have the time will close and switch to a more rewarding card. |

Why waste your time with them for 1% cashback when you can get a card that's straight 2% cashback? |
