I understand what you are saying, but is this something that will really get a cashier fired? I can't tell you how many times I have been told at RA and CVS that if the computer accepts the UPS or ECBS that they will take them. I know why it is working, but they never seem to. I have been told this by managers too. CVS has the same system, and I was being checked out by a manager yesterday with a fairly large order including some alcohol and several coupons. She said to keep giving her ECBS and if they scanned she would take them. It ate my entire subtotal and then started eating tax. She said she couldn't believe that it was eating tax because "they usually don't do that". It amazes me how many people work there for years, and still don't know why the system does what it does. I certainly would never intentionally do anything that would cost someone their job, but I will admit that on occasion when I have had a large stack of expiring UPS and lots of coupons, I would "roll" some of those UPS into a RA gift card. I am still spending the money there, so really never saw anything wrong with it. All of the cashiers that I have done this with are still there and none of them have ever said anything to me about it.

I did too many back to back transactions on a card with my son's name (got it before he was employed there) did the same number of transactions...the ones on his card were questioned by LP, mgr told me to be careful that card.
this was not even the card he was given as an employee...just card with an employee's name

Ricola update:

Went to a other store this am. Used a different card and purchased 4 ricola and got the DD

I have no idea why I did not get the DD in the 3rd transaction.
Even though I bought 4 ricola and got only 2/$1.00 ups, my receipt says Limit reached.

Anyone having a problem with the buy X get X holiday promo posting on thier receipt? Mine is buy 135 get 15 up+ it was tracking and I was up to 111.00, but on friday it was giving an error on the receipt, the amount spent said XXX...so yesterday my receipt said amount spent 68.00. So I lost some in the glitch. Im going to call today, but wanted to see if it hppened to anyone else. (didnt see a thread on this topic)
