Very good deal. I bought through mypoints.com which offers 3 points per dollar spent (~7500 points gets a $50 amazon GC, so that's essentially 2% more back) and ebay gives 2% back in bonus bucks, too. Might be able to get better points through some other site, but I just figured I'll pull the trigger before they sell out instead of searching around.

So 24% off, then used AAA at the hotel for another 10% off and get 10-15 points per dollar spend in reward points.

BTW, Marriott runs a lot of year end promotions on gift cards that are in the $15-20% off range.
