2 years at regular cost would put the cost of the deal at $220 which would still save you some money over the $320 that it would otherwise cost.

Can anyone find a spot where I can get this deal paying $60 per year for the 2 years of XBL? If I missed out I missed out, but I've decided for $100 that it'll make a good media center for my living room where I have a dumb TV.

You pay by the month cost, not year. So no you don't save money, it's a ripoff.

I bought a 360 with Skylanders for $158 including tax. I'll flip Skylanders for about $40 and I could then buy 2 12 month cards for $35 if I waited for a deal on here.

$158-$40=$118 $118+($35*2)=$188

Is the skylander game in the bundle a retail copy or does it say not for resale.

$460 for an xbox and 2 years of gold membership is wayyyyyyy above retail price......
1 year memberships drop to down to $35 at least every month and a retail xbox 360 - 250gb bundle sells for $200 MSRP.....

So if I buy a console bundle at MSRP and 2 years of membership at $35/year, I still save a whopping $190 over this "deal".

Seriously people, she's a NOVICE and she wasn't posting the deal, she was ASKING A QUESTION about the fine print.... Sounds like she was commenting on the fact that paying $99 for an XBOX wasn't such a good deal with the attached $15 monthly Live membership...

Thanks for keeping us safe out there, because many of us don't know what the hell we're doing or don't have the time to keep up with all the up-to-the-minute pricing and really rely on you techie guys to tell us when something is a good deal... Seriously do appreciate you guys and all your comments... Just take it a little easy on those of us in awe of you, pretty please! :-)

FYI the SDers who were getting an xbox for 99 were having target or walmart price match the ad without the live subscription(since it wasn't available at these stores). Believe the retailers caught wind of it after a week though.

Did you read my post? I was asking a question not suggesting a deal and I even noted that there were strings attached. Not only that but I didn't even provide a link to anything anywhere. I'm surprised you can even post a complete sentence because you clearly can't read.

People need to learn how to read on this forum. READ the original post people.
