TaxACT 2012 Ultimate Bundle (fed+state) $11.90 online version

Good deal,but every year I end up creating a new ID to get the deal and I forgot how I did this last year and imported all my return info from a different ID. May be using SSN,I guess?

Same here, haha. But I like this program, it gets the job done for a fraction of the TT or TC price

I don't think it's worth it to create new accounts and import for a savings of $2.05 - I'd already gotten an email saying it's $13.95 to do 2012's taxes since I had used this deal last year I'm comfortable with my time being worth the $2!

However for new customers this is a good deal and I was really impressed with this software I pitted it against Turbotax and got the same amounts so I'll be using this one exclusively this year. I don't have complex taxes though, just a single homeowner

I got the email $13.95 and it expired on 11/1. Thinking might get better deal like last year so I didn't lock. Today, another email with $14.95.

Question: Can I sigh up this deal ($11.95) with the old ID/account so I can import the last year tax info?

Ditto. I took a screenshot just in case it isn't there when I file next year. I've used this product for the past few years and have been pleased. I also have relatively simple finances though.

Edit: I just got a confirmation email with the $11.90 price after I signed in after clicking OP's link.

What are the return users doing to get the $11.90 price? When I click on OP's link, it only lets me try to create a new account. I don't see an area to log in for current users.

Are you just going through the steps of creating a brand new account, but populating it with the same user name and other info?

1. Click on OP's link
2. Under "Returning 2012 Users," click on "Continue Your Return" (see screenshot)
3. Sign in with your current user name and password.
4. You'll see $11.90 price for the Ultimate Bundle confirmed. You should also receive an e-mail confirmation.
