Thanks OP. Could get it for $11.90.
It does not work if you have already started your taxes. This happened last year too. Basically, you have to wait until this deal shows up and then retrieve your previous year's returns. |

Used Tax Act last year but still prefer Turbo Tax for ease of use.

price is same for prior user, I didn't have to create a new account. hope it locks in until next year when we start filing for tax

used H&R Block last year - was so-so, but it was free (or maybe $5) with some rebate deals. Anyone familiar with TaxAct's Schedule K support? H&R Block software sucked with MLPs.

I tried to use TaxAct last year, but it stalled on something simple, I'm trying to remember.. It was something like the company name having two lines or somesuch on the W-2. I didn't want to risk having the IRS's computers choke on things not going through properly, so back to the free TurboTax plus filing fees/state for me. Plus, TurboTax lays things out more logically (imo).

I clicked on the OP's link, clicked on the left for returning users. After logging in and checking the fee page, it still shows my previous deal of $13.95. I couldn't get the $11.90. Is the deal dead or have I done something wrong?

i used taxact for last years tax. do I create a new account? will it connect to my previous filings?

If you locked in at 13.95 I think that account is "locked in" to get the other price try to create a new account and import data from your previous year.
