TaxACT 2012 Ultimate Bundle (fed+state) $11.90 online version

Worked for me, shows the 11.90 in the fees section. My state does free filing online, but this will save me the hour or so of copying the information, thanks

I always wait for the $11.90 price to lock in. Looks like I got it this time but can't be certain until it's time to pay.

There likely website that will compare the products but not the fees since there are promotional price all the time. Any comparison can only be done with the full retail price but not promotion price so pretty useless for SDers. You probably should just look for website that compare features of different products. Then just keep monitoring SD hot deal forum to check for the best promotion and the price that is acceptable to you. For most SDers that prefer online efile and are not attached to any particular service, this $11.9 Ultimate bundle that include both fed+state efile probably best deal (assumption the promotion this year from different tax return services are similar to last few years). All other services are a lot more expensive if you want to do state efile also.

Finally I don't have to create new ID to get discount. Locked at $11.90. I've been using this for last 5 years. Very good software and good phone support.

Thanks! I do taxes for several and end up using a program to do the federal for free and do the state manually or pay for it. This is well worth the $ and I appreciate the feedback on it's quality compared to Turbo Tax.

Looks like it is super easy. I did it and got the special which saved me about $7 over last year. As soon as you log in, click the "Basic Info" tab in the top left corner. When you click that you will be an option right underneath it "Import." Simply click and enter your 2011 username, password and SSN.

It will import the info.

Deal looks dead.
I just spoke to someone via phone and he said this was a third party offer and not valid. He said it wasn't through taxact. I told him that hundreds of people are going directly to the site and it's working for them, but he didn't buy it.

Wasted 40 minutes of my life with the guy on the phone (although he was polite). Very frustrated.



EDIT: I signed up for a new account and it works. The guy on the phone was basically lying to me. I could not get returning customer to work

I forgot to save my 2011 tax return from them and now they are asking $14 to retrieve it. Anyw ay I can get it for free? Thanks. Not just from them but another source.

Thanks was able to use the below to signin to my 2011 account and get the 11.90 pricing. Repped both.

1. Click on OP's link
2. Under "Returning 2012 Users," click on "Continue Your Return" (see screenshot)
3. Sign in with your current user name and password.
