This is a much better price for the 14 since there isn't any tax (atleast where I'm at). Also groupon was shady. They couldn't even tell me if the lens was new or used. The said it 'seems to be' new.

Also their shipping time was 2.5 weeks.

Already received the groupon 35 lens.
It was brand new BTW.

But for people that missed that deal this one is not bad.

as far as I can tell these don't have the chip in it for the Nikon versions

This deal is actually quite a bit better than Groupon's for the 35mm Pentax, and possibly for the other brands too. This is $20 less plus no tax, thus a $40+ overall savings. Thanks op.

Edit: important detail. the $299 nikon version includes a "focus confirm chip". this doesn't auto focus but it handles exposure for you. Well worth the $20. Thanks OP. i bit on one of the $299 nikon 14mm f/2.8s.

Looks like they don't keep it in stock and needed to order it. I should have it in about 2 weeks... (something to keep in mind if you're holiday shopping)
