For all those saying this is a "meh" deal because of the Nexus 4, what about for those of us on Sprint, where the Nexus 4 isn't an option?

Yes, Nexus 4 can do T-Mobile's version of 4G (HSPA+, 42Mbit/s). There might even be unofficial, undocumented support of LTE on T-Mobile in the future (once they roll that out on their network), but that's not guaranteed.

Yes. But you can also buy cheaper (and more expensive) phones directly from T-mobile ... look in their prepaid phones online.

does this have att 3g? Usually it is 850 and 1900 but this has 900, 1900, 2100

googles really F#*$ over their android partners making the nexus 4 so cheap. This changes everything. I can't imagine any future phones android phones being sold for more than $350. Maybe google's trying to monopolize the android markets and at the same time, steal users from the iphone. Soon, the nexus will be the only android phone people will be using. It'll be iphone vs nexus. That'll definitely solve the problem of fragmentation and phone makers refusing to update the latest software. Its a really smart move on googles part. Now they just have to release it to ATT and verizon, have LTE and they'll be set.

Optimus G, same phone as Nexus 4 and a lot faster than the SIII.

I only see this as a good thing. More competition. The $750+ retail prices of phones were getting absolutely ridiculous.

I think it just goes to show Google/LG priced the 4 way too low. I wouldn't be surprised in the least if we were to find that it's undercutting Google's other licensees. If this trend keeps up, there might be more of an incentive for the likes of Samsung and Motorola to invest more in W8.

This phone is really just a gs2 mini, not a gs3 mini.
