This has probably been discussed but newby here; if I were to buy an xbox w/ kinect for my 6 and 4 year old, is the 4GB (or in this possibility 2.9GB) sufficient enough for basic games, not fighting games like Halo or other remote player games?

You can buy a lot of games for kids , really cheap this days . You would need a bigger hard drive ( + 200GB ) , if your kids want to download from the internet movies , videogames , etc . ( The Xbox360 needs to be connected to the internet also ) . get them one xbox .. just make sure to have enough space on the living room for all the jumping ... |

It supports up to 32GB USB flash cards, for Xbox 360 saves. 16GB USB flash drives are less then $10. 16GB should be plenty for most things. If you plan to install games to disc, consider buying a hard drive. |

I use 2 x 10 dollar radio Shack Black friday 32 GB drives for a quick 64 gigs of extra storage for 20 bucks. so if you can wait for a good deal on 32GB flash drives, you can upgrade storage on the cheap

Use zip and add to cart for the 149 price. Go to cart. Change pickup zip code and select your store. Check out. It worked. Thanks!

Im confused and hate sounding like an idiot, but the OP mentions a Kinect and it doesnt seem to come with one, does it?

Up-to 1GB of the flash drive will be used for Xbox formatting so your best bet is to use a 8GB drive so you have lots of room. Some flash drives don't work but most do staying with a name brand is a good bet. |

I just walked into the store today morning and picked one up at $149 plus tax.
I did not order anything online...Found one in their gaming section..asked the Store Associate to do a Price Check..it rang 149$ so took it and walked out! |
