I didn't have a rewards # till after check out, I guess I'm stuck mailing in my rebate.

Do online purchases qualify for the rebate? The form states participating stores. Any thoughts?

On the rebate form they include the Craftsman 12V multitool. It appears to be available in-store for $90. Subtract the $50 rebate and add the extra $5 you'll pay in taxes = $45 which seems to be the lowest price around.

I've done these Ace rebates before. You buy online and choose to ship the items to the nearest Ace. You should automatically see your Ace Rewards number when checking out. The only downside for me is that my Ace forgets to contact me when my stuff arrives (I have to call and ask).

Even if you go to buy directly from the store and see different prices, the sale prices will usually ring up at the cashier. Don't forget to take your Ace Rewards card.

It's still available for $29.99 at Sears.com. Free shipping with ShopYourWayMAX, or pick-up at local store if it's in stock.

Took the ad to my local store last night and they had no clue about it. Brought some items to scan and they rang at full price. I guess Friday is when it officially goes on sales at B&M.

I updated the original post to add that the price is available on their website with free ship to store.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe the rebate program is national. The key is if your local store is participating in the $6.99 sales price.

I haven't ordered from their website before, so, if you know otherwise, please share. If you select the ship to local store (free) I assume you still pay for the products during checkout on the website which would be at the $6.99 website sale price (links in original post). Then, it doesn't matter if the local store is "participating." You got the sale price through the website. You just need to submit the $5 rebate.

Thanks OP for the update. I want to buy it at B&M because I have Ace Survey coupon $10 off $25 that I want to use. I also have a $50 Ace Gift Card from Discover Cashback ($50 for $45). For some reason there's no option to use gift card to pay if I do it online. They take all cards even paypal but not ACE gift card. Go figure.

Just a heads up. I ordered lat night online and used Paypal and selected in-store pick-up. When I checked my order status it says Item(s) located in stock. I called the store to see if I could pick them up and was told the order would be on their freight truck that comes in on Fridays or Monday. They said they would call me to pick up my order.

I went to my Westlake Ace Hardware with my dad and we each got a utility knife, set of refill blades, a screwdriver set, and tape measure for $27.96 - $10 Survey Coupon = $17.96 + tax

With tax, the total was like $19.80 and I'll get back $20 in rebates.

Can't beat Free Tools! I don't even have to waste a stamp because I can e-File the rebates since I used my rewards number.

FYI: If you don't see the prices marked on the shelf, have an associate scan it at the register. All of the items rang up at the correct $6.99 before rebate price, despite the shelf not advertising the rebate nor the sale price. The register even recognized there were active rebates on the items because it spit out 4 rebate receipts that the cashier was supposed to match up with the rebate form for me.

You'd think they would have the shelves marked with the proper price by now... considering it is 9 days after the rebate started!

Just tried 2 stores in Oklahoma and still rang up full price.
