NOTE: I HAVE CHECKED UP ON THIS. Because I want a Galaxy Note, haha.
I called in to two Costcos today about this and they told me this was the price for "with a value plan". If you got it without that, that's pretty YMMV. That said, the value plan doesn't seem like a horrific deal - one store quoted me $60/m minimum, but the other one quoted me $50/m minimum for a plan with 500 minutes/unlimited text/2GB data [and unlimited but throttled after that]. Deals:

T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy Note I for $239.99 + value plan ?
that means .... that Galaxy Note 1's final price, standalone, is $239.99 ? because for the value plan, you either bring or use your own phone or you do monthly installments of payments for 20 months. if this is a "slickdeal" the Note 1 is $239.99 without contract ? which value plan did you get and what will be your monthly bill ? value plan contract doesn't come with a phone like a classis plan contract, a value plan requires you to either: 1) bring your own phone or 2) have a $20 - $30 added onto your value plan contract for 20 months to make it even out like the classic plan
Classic Plan = $89.99 per month Unlimited Text + Talk + Unlimited Nationwide 4G Value Plan = $69.99 per month Unlimited Text + Talk + Unlimited Nationwide 4G what's the difference? value plan : you buy a phone at full price from wherever source or bring an old phone, buy a 2 year contract that allows you the same features of a classic plan. you're paying "$20" cheaper because they are not giving you the phone for "$199 or $299". do the math. OP's post doesn't make sense. |
