$89.99 Lightning Deal Griot's Garage 10765LNGCRD 6-Inch Random Orbital Polisher 25 foot cord

I thought the pc 7424 had less amps and power. I agree though, if the 2 are the same (10ft cord vs the 25ft cord) why pay the extra $$$ for the cord?
The pc7424 only has a 3 year warranty and this one is lifetime. Why do they make a 3" and a 6"? Is it easier to get around door jambs and stuff?
I'm getting ready to buy, and am just getting a little confused with the pricing issue on the cords!

3" for smaller and more narrow area.

The 25ft comes with a slightly higher gauge cord if I remember correctly but it's not worth the extra $. If 10ft vs 25ft are the same price then go for longer, if not just buy your own extension cord.

A few of people (me as well) also buy a 5" backing plate and put Lake Country 5.5" pad.

Is this because the griots pads come apart after awhile?

i have the Flex it's is pricy but worth it..speed control...and i like the Lake Country pads better than the griots pads

LOL !! Thanks for the "How to do" guide... I saw that coming the moment I made that post. But the actual reasons are different. We are living in an apartment and there are space constraints. Once we buy a home, I will be able to jump in all that DIY frenzy...

Besides, who knows whether I will get the time to do work on my car ? In an apartment complex it is difficult to find a power outlet near where the car is parked.

This hobby is for later as of now.

that is an early on good deal.. the assumption is that we could only ever get the griot pads at $28.99 and not lower... currently, the pads are being added for free for my LD order..

EDIT: free 3 polishing pads applied to my 10' cord order for $89.99, not the lightning deal 25' cord. Will keep both..
