Pretty positive the diamonds are real. Realize they are not big. They are tiny. The pictures will always make them seem bigger than what they are. I have purchased many watches from Bulova for myself and my wife included and have never been disappointed. The markup on just about all watches in this category is pretty high as well.

My gf bought my watch as I mentioned in earlier post from zales last year, its a really nice piece, (not my style by any means..) but she bought it for me and i get compliments on it when i actually wear it, which is like very rare. but the quality of the watch is very good, thats why i didnt even hesitate just now to buy her one.

thank you slickdeals.
Thank you for making me feel even better about the purchase! Smilie

I bought this watch for my wife a few weeks ago, last time it was at this price, and it's a nice watch. The mother of pearl dial stands out more than the diamonds around the edge as they're pretty small. But well worth the price for a Bulova.

How can it be so cheap, with 24 real diamonds?
Because tiny diamond stones/chips are far more common and much less expensive.

Larger stones, the kind you can cut an engagement rock out of, are much rarer and much, much more expensive. And then you get into things like color and inclusions that don't really matter for the tiny stones/chips used in a watch face but can have a huge effect on the price of a diamond solitaire.

1) The amount/size is very little.
2) The quality is more than likely an extremely low grade.

Overall the watch has today's stylish look, has a few diamonds, and a Mother Of Pearl dial and not a small size watch.

Thinking about getting this... but diamond quality is what really makes a difference. That's why I love Costco for jewelry. All of their diamonds tend to be VS2 or better and I on the color scale. Anyway, I read a few unfavorable reviews about Bulova quality. Anyone have experience with these?

on a watch, that the diamonds are small / used for accents. the clarity really doesnt matter tbh. Too small to see with naked eye any imperfections. In a ring, where the diamonds are significantly bigger and you can see minor imperfections, big deal. but these are just used for accents and i think its totally worth it. (i have a bit of jewerly) I prefer buying canadian diamonds as well for quality myself.

The diamonds on bulova watches are super small Smilie they just use them to call it a "diamon watch," but I like bulova, its a good american brand Smilie
