Hmm... Just when I'd begun to feel confident in keeping the $500 GH2 I bought last week for doing videos. I know the Pentax is missing some important video features compared to the GH2 (especially HDMI live view), but the difference in price is pretty hard to ignore. Difficult, difficult decisions...

Anyone looking for taking high quality images and video, you simply can NOT do better than this image quality for the money. The lens is almost worth the price of admission by itself. The price for this kit is almost beyond belief. As for the design and color of the camera, well, that's a matter of taste (or lack thereof).

It didn't change. Amazon ran out so that's the third party price. I missed this until I was cruising my Kindle at the gym. Can't order it from Amazon on my Kindle. Oh well, I'll think of it as $320 put towards a RX100.

and B&H still has that pricing now, even though items "ship in 7-10 days"

For a while, this K-01 kit was selling for $346 or so from B&H or Adorama. I forget which. So I don't think this is a PM. Remember that Amazon sold off the XZ-1 for $199 while B&H still had it priced at $269.

Not the kit for $346, but the body only, I remember the kit was at $445.

What a steal! In for one. I hope the yellow won't bug me in real life as much as it does in the picture...
