I loved the N900, such a groundbreaking phone/computer. I moved on to the N9 and have the 920 also for work. Can't wait to see what Jolla puts out this spring. |

Anyone else have experience buying w/ subsidy, cancelling and paying the etf? This strategy seems like a pretty big loop hole for those with value plans. ~200-300 (etf + first month + activation) is quite a bit less than the phone's unsubsidized purchase price. |

Sorry for shouting this, but anyone who signs up for EIP installments and expect to get off with just the 200ETF is advocating fraud. It's a different matter if you're on the "Classic" or "Grandfathered" subsidized plans, since the ETF on a Classic or Grandfathered plan is basically just buying off your contract, so you won't owe anything after you buy out the contract. disclaimer: i've got really really old grandfathered plans with tzones, and it really drives me nuts when all the tmobile employees try to make me switch to "value" with NO subsidies... what're they smoking? pay more, 2yr contract, and no subsidies? really? /endrant. Value plans are only good if you're getting your phones from Craigslist or eBay, but NOT FROM TMOBILE. Don't fall for this. Any old "Grandfathered" plan with Subsidies are cheaper than the new "Value". Unless you're gettin your phones from craigslist or ebay, don't fall for this scam. |

- Significantly smaller screen resolution and non PureMotion screen on the 810 (but ClearBlack is good too) - Not a unibody design - No LTE - Other minor things such as no inductive charging capabilities. Btw, the camera is not SLIGHTLY better. The one thing that makes the Lumia 920 camera great and unique - optical image stabilization - is missing on the 810. But, I'd say both phones are absolutely great and a good option for those who are contemplating on upgrade options. |

810 has inductive charging, though it may not matter much for many. refer link below.

i don't see anything saying on EIP in terms and conditions: http://www.t-mobile.com/Templates/Popup.aspx?PAsset=Ftr_Ftr_TermsAndConditions&print=true#SeeDataPlanTerms
EIP seems if you participate in such program, else you are not in EIP, isnt it? 1. EIP FAQ [t-mobile.com] 2. newsroom [t-mobile.com] so, if choose classic plan 500minuts for$40+$20 data plan, i'm not in EIP program isn't it, so why is EIP a problem for this making to $206 deal as mentined in my earlier post??

As I said in my post, paying ETF is a good deal for "Classic" or "Grandfathered" plans, NOT FOR VALUE PLANS. These are 3 different things. Lots of people are misunderstanding this. To be clear again, OP's deal is a good deal. bamba415's "Value" plan is NOT. |
