I know this is the thread for the Schick Hydro 5 gift set... butttttttttttt, I went to Target yesterday, and they had a Gillette gift set, no extra cartridges, but a nice razor, shaving cream and 2 other minis for $9.99... the coupon from last weeks Sunday coupons worked on it for $10 off... got it for -$0.01.. thought it was a good deal, and decided to try and use that coupon on a whim even though it wasn't quite the same item, just same brand..

FYI: they have these same Hydro gift sets for $10 at Walmart in the Holiday gift section. Picked up 2 yesterday. I do not see them listed on their website.

I bought 3, and used $4 coupon on each, so $6 is not bad per box.
This is not the typical crappy schick blade. This one is a big improvement, no more wire in front of the blade, and blades dont bend as quickly as Gillette. I really like it more that powerglide and fusion, those blades bend too quickly and are way too thin, and cause more irritation than the hydro 5 Last edited by ededlee; 12-09-2012 at 08:32 PM.. |

Picked up 6 of these at Target yesterday. I would have bought more, but that was all they had. The price was marked $10, but they rang up as $7 each. There was a sign saying that the Dove men's package was on sale for $7, so I'm wondering if there was a coding mistake. I was very happy to pay $10, so $7 is that much better. Hopefully my store gets more in stock.
