WSJ.COM renewal ripoff
The WSJ.Com changed their pricing dramatically on October 15, 2012. Instead of being able to buy a yearly wsj.com subscription for $79 or $99 or $119 (depending upon your offer), the price has increased to $259 with smartphone and tables editions bundled .... and they also unilaterally instituted an automatic renewal at the higher rate with the credit card on file. Rupert and Company must think their subscribers are a bunch of dufuses (or dufii). More likely that renewals will drop dramatically and the special offers will return. Did anybody mention NETFLIX?
