Is this a good deal for a desktop?

What are you using this comp for? The video card is a couple generations old and will probably require an upgrade within a year or 2 if you play mostly newer games. The 460w power supply will probably not suffice once you get a new video card and will require upgrading to at least 600w+
Basicially, I would not pay 750 for that especially if it is that price + Tax and shipping.
The system is probably worth closer to 600-650. Maybe look into building your own rig? It's fun and cheaper too

i agree with previous poster - build ur own. I've been building my own systems since 93 and its always better when u know whats inside as well as since ur SD'er anyways - its a no brainer. Easy to do and since u get all the parts on deals- cheaper as well as u know that no crap goes into ur system. But in the system above i would replace/add:
Add SSD for a boot drive and put windows on it
Replace video card to something with a bit more muscle(if ur a gamer) like 7850,7870,7950,7970(my pick),
Replace PSU with good company(important-never use no name PSU's as it can kill ur entire system) with 600w+
After all these it would be just easier to build a system from scratch-really not that hard(some newer builder think its a rocket science - its not). U can build a system that will kick above systems ass for around $500 if u get parts on SD deals

That's a good price. If possible remove the overpriced video card to bring down the cost. Buying this component separately can be cheaper. The 7770 is good for a lot of games, if you're a 'hardcore' gamer then yeah maybe get a video card a bit more powerful, but otherwise it's a great video card. And btw, that power supply is fine. Unless you plan on installing like two video cards or a really high end one, you don't need anything higher than a 460 watts. Cards are only getting more energy efficient too so I don't see the need to upgrade.

If you're interested in windows 7 or want to upgrade to windows 8 pro for $15, look into the 1360t on hp's site. Around same price and has the same specs .
