thanks. i'ver never thought of that. now i just open and play with them for a couple weeks, then ship them back with broken keys. that's easier than just ship them back in sealed conditions.

That may be why Target has them on clearance. It's the older model.

I have the newer version with Win 8 gestures, and it makes Win 8 mode much more useable on my non touchscreen laptop. If you upgraded a non touchscreen machine to Win 8, i would recommend getting the newer version. Without the Win 8 gestures, there was no easy way to swipe tiles to the side or even scroll up and down.
