Thread Details

Not exactly a deal, so excuse me for posting this - but has anyone successfully used Levi's lifetime warranty and got replacement jeans? I called 'em today and they agreed to send out a RMA, but I'm not sure if they'll replace me jeans. I bought a pair of 550s three years ago and this weekend they just developed a rip across the left knee (honest! I didn't do anything)...definitely not good jeans. Levi's wanted me to pay shipping to them, so being the cheapskate that I am, I wanted to make sure that I can get a free replacement before shipping i out.

Thanks in advance for any opinions! Smilie

I have done this once. The form was posted here. I sent in 4 pair at once and they sent all new jeans. I have more to send in but can't find the link to the form.

You don't actually have to pay return shipping - they send it out Fedex, but you have to pay shipping to them.

I sent in 6 pairs and they sent me 2 new pairs. The 4 they didn't replace, they said they were to old.

How old were they? Doesn't LIFETIME warranty mean anything to them? Anyway, I think I have a good case but we'll see what happens.

Yeah plus they should at least return them. Did they give you back the old ones?

Well, I sent them in today. We'll see what happens. Cost like $5 bucks in priority shipping (parcel post was 10 cents cheaper). I'm an idiot....I forgot to take photos and write the serial numbers down.

BTW, does anyone know how long they take to send replacements or if they acknowledge receipt? The lady on the phone told me 4-6 weeks but I was wondering I could get them sooner...
