Stainless seems more durable ... easier to wash without smashing the screen. A TRICK I normally do is fill coffee up to normal height at the line. The use something round and small..and press down to compact the grinds. Small spoon may work if you press in a circular motion. Similiar technique is used with vietnamese coffee, slower drips means stronger coffee. Lmk how it works out for you

Ah, i just saw your post before i posted about the quality issue of the coffee produced when using the Ekobrew.

thanks op. i think ill give the stainless a go this round and.

to those who have problems with these i always grind my own coffee using a burr grinder so i can dial in the grind. sometimes preground coffee is too fine.for example the gevalia coffee clogs these, but ground dunkin works perfect. also sometimes specific grinds for specific beans are finer than others using the same setting on a burr grinder. i have to slightly turn the grind if im using starbucks vs dunkin but ive had great results and saved a ton of money. i loosely fill them to the fill line (never pack the grounds in, and never above the fill line) and then select a medium size cup on my b70 brewer.

Got the plastic 2 pack to try out. We seem to run through k cups like crazy...

Amazon is $9.99 for a single and groupon is $8 plus $2 flat-rate shipping fee for purchases less than $15. Just giving another option to folks who only want 1 genius.

Either way it would come out the same price. The Groupon is a flat $2 shipping, only difference would probably shipping speed, if you have PRIME.
