Yes a coworker has this unit, we use it about 25ft away from laptop thru a door. Works very well, sound is good but volume leaves something to be desired. I think we turned to nearly full volume and its stayed there however we have some loud machines that dampen it. Has internal battery that will eventually crap out.

Solid unit thats lasted despite heavy moisture environment + drunk folks, rarely have to charge it. Not too shabby and very portable for under 40$.

Would I be able to connect 2 of these to my android phone?

Yes. Love it. Just ordered another. Great connection with Iphone and Ipads. It's great for taking tunes to your patio, different rooms, chilling with friends. It won't power a house party but you knew that. The battery life is long when using a direct connection (6 hours +) , but battery life is 2-3 hours using bluetooth connection. I almost always use the bluetooth connection, but keep this in mind if you are taking this to the beach or someplace else where you need extended battery life.

Connectivity is good. I havent really tried it more than about 40 feet.

Sound is decent. Enough to entertain a small party.

Battery life is great. Ive gone several hours and it was fine

Carrying case is nice and also holds the charger. Sleek design.

I know its probably not comparable to the logitech here.. anyone happen to listen to both the one on sale and the beats speaker? the beats speaker is real good and loud but i dont want to pay 300-400 bucks :/

the new JBL Flip [amazon.com] just came out and is getting awesome reviews [macgasm.net] - better than Jambox. Not Beats quality, but it may be next best - and it's $99.

Can't say 'Beats Quality' is anything to write home about. Might as well buy Bose.

I was waiting around at the sprint store and saw it on display. Paired up my phone and put on Pandora. It was impressive. Started poking around and couldn't really find it anywhere (this was weeks ago), and I hopped on ebay and managed to get a new one for $75 shipped. If I had a complaint, it has a laptop style charging plug. Wish it was microUSB. Anything that small and portable should have microUSB. Can say it was better than the Jambox and the Soundmatters Fox LV2 (or whatever the lettering is on it). Smaller than both too. Easily better than the Monster one which I actually sold for more than I paid for it when I got the Flip. Don't know how the pricing has held on that thing. And the build quality on the Flip is excellent. I'd put a deal alert on it if you're in the market. It's also a bit smaller than the Logitech, but I've read some good reviews on this one. Can't beat it for the price.
