No you need both a 3D player AND a 3D TV to watch in 3D. BTW I personally LOVE the combo packs. I get the Blu for the theatre room, the dvd to hand to the kids, a Digital Copy for mobile use and a 3D disc to sell for ~$15 or so to folks who don't seem to know better

This is why some 3D movie have separate 3D and 2D blurays and some have a single combined disc. The separate disc allow for a much higher bandwidth and less compression to be used for a 3D only presentation. |

I found a $10 off coupon at TRU for the BR copy of Finding Nemo. It looks like a TRU coupon but the fine print says it's a manufacturer coupon. YMMV on stacking it with the $ DMR coupon but it will definitely work if you have to pick just one. This makes the 3-disc copy just $12.99 and the 5-disc only $17.99.
The coupon was a half-sheet at each register with $5 off any Disney DVD, $5 off a DVD from one of those baby series and the Nemo coupon. Last edited by eibboh; 12-03-2012 at 06:20 AM.. |

I understand where you guys are coming from. However I like the extra DVD to use in the car or laptop for the kids where HD is not a big deal. |

I looked and looked for the Cinderella/Nemo coupons today in my Toys R Us with absolutely no luck. In fact, Nemo itself was uncharacteristically very hard to find. A full color print quality scan would be very, VERY helpful at this point. I just don't see having any luck with the currently posted version's quality. But I am grateful for the effort.
