This is a decent deal if you are trying to hit companion status for the year - the cheapest flowers on the site are $29.99, which after a hefty fee and maybe tax ~$50. $50 for 1,250 points (of which 1,000 are base points and count towards companion status) is decent - 4 cents per RR point and 5 cents per companion status point. Those 1,250 points are worth $20.88 and also would have taken $1,250 of generic spending to grab ($1,000 to grab the 1,000 points that count towards companion status).
