generally speaking 37" and below 720p you will be fine with, anything higher than that 1080p is recommended. Although i can't say whether the samsung is better or not never really a big fan of plasmas, as no matter what they tell me about natural colors.. I do not see white i see yellowish white lol

And with a LCD you will see blotchy greyish black instead of black.

Ya that's what I've heard about resolution too.. Hopefully it's not a deal breaker in the coming years... I actually have a 47" led too that I'm probably gonna take back.. Good set it just couldn't get the blacks like this plasma can.. So many decisions and I hate decisions! Haha

why I cann't see the $170 shipping fee?i see the protection plan as follows:
Protect Your Purchase With A Product Protection Plan! See Full Terms
No Protection Plan
1 Year, Only $34.99
2 Years, Only $62.99

what's the protection plan?it's the warranty?

Yikes indeed, well I just received this TV from the freight company… it ironically had a boxer on the outside of the box. Well apparently someone felt intimidate by said boxer and then felt the only course of action was to punch his printed face. Unfortunately their fist also connected with the middle of the plasma screen, which is now spiderwebbed. I'm currently going through the process of returning the TV.

It was quite annoying as I had to have someone on stand-by to accept the tv delivery… now I'll have to have someone on standby to send the thing back!

It's a shame i was really looking forward to comparing this TV's screen to the 50" Westinghouse I picked up on black friday from Target, which I was going to deliver to my parents house later this week. Looks like I'll have to keep that one.

Hopefully cowboom accepts the return quickly and without any more problems. The online chat girl "Heather" exactly willingly helpful. Although I'm sure my annoyance of the situation might of shown through just a bit. — I don't know if I'll be ordering another large tv online anytime soon though.
