I just called lowes support about not receiving my refund and they told me that my order was not cancelled even though I received a cancellation email from lowes.
On my account the status in still in pick-up status but the arrival date has changed to 12/25. I am wondering should I go to the store to question my refund or wait to see if I could actually get these rugs.
Called store back again and they store refunded my american express with a cash refund and the cash is in the store. They told me I had to come to store and get my refund. I told them no, put the money back on my credit card, I'm not driving to the store to pick up my refund for an online order.
Anyone who placed an order is gonna have this issue. So make sure you call you're store cause they may have just cashed out you're refund and not contacted you. They told me the manager left a message on my phone and said the message explained why they refunded my online order to cash without even contacting the customer.
I called today. They were confused and couldn't figure out why I wasn't refunded. They tried to insist that I received the cancellation email, but I most certainly did not. Regardless, I knew the order wasn't going to go through - I just wanted my money back. After nearly an hour of holds and waiting for a call back, they finally told me that my was order has been cancelled and a refund is on the way. Unfortunately, it's going to take another 3 to 7 business days to receive the refund.
Two to three weeks for my money back is unacceptable. Geesh. Talk about bad business practices.
It's only ten bucks, but I could of used that money to order a different Christmas gift.
WOW... So you never received cancellation order since last year? and you never called store to check the order?
I placed 2 orders and received a cancelation phone call the day after I placed my orders from my pick up store. I thought that cancelation call was for both orders.
About a month later I received another call from my pick up location Lowes and I was told that my order was not excepted and she will resubmit my order. She had to resubmit my order 3 times.
To my surprise Lowes only canceled 1 of my orders.
I fought back and forth with the store manager, then corporate several times. Eventually, they got tired of me and I got a call from the store manager informing me that the order would be fulfilled. Back order was 2 to 3 weeks.
