Reps to OP and thanks; got a 5 with remote, no OM. Needed something to go with new Sammy HDTV that had HDMI out. For cheap money hopefully this fits the bill.

FWIW, PIA checkout process, and had to create an account to use the "samsun10" discount code, but ultimately it did work. Biggest hassle was the site kept rejecting my zip code, apparently because it starts with a "0".

The benefit of the checkout process is not only that you can apply the code, it's that you can keep better track of your order. In case you accidentally delete the email they send you with your order confirmation or it goes to junk and you loose it. Also helps if you need to do an RMA.

Great deal, I just ordered. Hopefully the condition is not too bad, the description sounded okay to me.

Well, my unit arrived in a somewhat munged box, but the player inside was well cushioned and it seems to work just fine. I've only tested the playing function, not the WiFi and etc. The remote is spotless and the player itself is probably in better condition than it was described.

So for the above I should be happy.

But then there's the "warranty". I got the 2-year product replacement plan for which I paid $8.99. Looking closely at the warranty I note a "maximum coverage" of $50. As I see it this means I'm wagering $8.99 to get $50 (less shipping charges, so say $40) over the next two years in the event this thing breaks. There's no way anyone will fix this thing if it breaks for less than $50 bucks, I just don't see it happening!

Anyone else have a similar feeling about their warranty? From the warranty company's standpoint, so long as fewer than one in six of these units breaks in the next two years then they have made money.

I got mine yesterday. The unit was advertised as a 5, with significant scratches. I received a brand new looking unit with no visible usage markings. As advertised, I received a remote and two AAA batteries. Unit was a breeze to set up. It does not seem to detect 2.4GHz 802.11n networks but I have it hooked up via Ethernet for now.

Edit: I did not get the warranty.

+1 for me. I received mine yesterday and while the box was a bit beat up, the unit looked new and came with remote and batteries. Nice little player for a great price!

Will this connect to the audio on my sound bar? Uses the red/white audio cable or a 3.5mm.
