Definitely looks more expensive and impressive, but takes more counter/storage space for no good reason. Functionally there is little difference... they're all just a kneading paddle and heating element.
Owned one, is a Piece of Crap. The bread always either over rises or falls i sold it on CL for 25 bux. You can almost get it to turn out ok if you keep making bread in it and varying the original formula iteratively (vary the water by a TBSP, or Halve the yeast or add a bit more flower) but its a lot of work to just get the unit to make OK bread. Ive read that the build quality is very variable on these so you might get lucky.
I got a Zojirushi bread maker (Significantly more expensive) and its night and day better. Perfect bread every time.
Own one, now just as a kitchen towel rack. The bucket inside the breadmaker keeps on popping out of it's place, so the mixer will stop spinning because it's not in the socket. Imagine waking up to a baked bread that is half mixed and half raised. I got it replaced and still the same problem, would not recommend this at all.
now own it. not completely happy with it. The bucket pops out a lot. Now the kneading cycle stops after 5 minutes though it supposed to knead for like 30 minutes. if i press stop and then start, it kneads again. pain.
Got mine. Was damaged. Asked 1SaleaDay to exchange. They said they might be able to, but couldn't tell for sure and that I should check back in a few days. I do so. They still don't know, but want me to go ahead and ship back the defective device. Of course, they are not willing to pay to ship back this defective heavy appliance!!! So, now I am dealing with their horrible customer service of which I was forewarned.
By the way - their terms and conditions do not state that the customer is responsible for return shipping.
I just received mine. It is refurbished. I do not recall this item being listed as refurbished on the product page. Was it listed as refurbished?
Exactly. Part is CBK-100FR, with FR standing for factory refurbished. I am sending mine back. Ask them to issue a call tag if you want to return. Their terms and conditions do not require the customer to pay for return shipping for a misadvertised product. Scam.
