TiVo Stream $110 shipped at Crutchfield, AC

I did this same deal 2 weeks ago and meant to post it, but never did I got another $7 off with reward points from prior purchases and $2.20 Cash back.

Easy to set up and works super, but you do have to have the Stream and Premier Tivo connected to each other via a wired Ethernet connection. The stream plus the Elite (XL 4) I got from Woot make a great combo with my 4s and Ipad 2. My cable company (Comcast) doesn't turn on the protection flag, but HBO does. You can still stream HBO to your devices but you can't transfer HBO shows to watch outside your house.

Well, one way to get around that is to go to https://{your-tivo's-IP-address} user ID is tivo and password is the MAK from the settings menu. Then you just download the videos from the HDD onto your computer directly from the tivo. My series 2 used to let me download flagged shows, not sure if they fixed that on the new models.

Seems like the best deal we have seen so far for this.

I imagine that TiVo will be stuck giving these away once the Mini launches.

Why is that? They are two separate products that have different functions. One streams and downloads shows to iPads and iPhones. The other replaces a cable box attached to your television.

Say what? I've never heard of this. Fantastic, if it works. I'll be trying that tonight.
