Onkyo TX-SR309 5.1-Channel Home Theater Receiver (Refurbished) $104 or less

Got my 515 in and have been messing around with it. A nice surprise was that it already came with the latest firmware, no need to update. Took me awhile to realize why it wouldn't try to do the update, when I finally compared the version # with the current version on Onkyo's website.

Don't have my speakers hooked up yet, but all the setup portions that I could do worked easily. Typing using a remote control is a pain as always, but I got Pandora up and running just fine, and re-labeled all the inputs to what I'll be using. Other than the sheer size of this thing, I love it.

this thing is really hot, makes the deal not that hot.

Ugh, in the market for a receiver.

I knew I shouldn't of spent time with family, should of stayed glued to SD!

you are late for this. I got my ordered in on Sunday, discussed with Onkyo, made a switch from 515 to 616, they recalculated price, it turned out to be 234.**

, be patient, the deal will come back again. when I talked to them, they said new deals will be coming soon. since I already got mine, did not ask the details. but if you wait, you will get good deal.

Got my SR309 yesterday, the speakers are connected and working fine, but the subwoofer just isn't loud. I got the 5.1 ENERGY Take Classic bundle for 300$ on black friday. Any ideas how to make the subwoofer work correctly?

I think ONKYO in general have issues with subwoofer sound.

Got my TX-SR309 hooked up today and everything works fine. It doesn't seem to run much if any warmer than my Denon receiver so I guess you just got a bad unit or I got lucky.

The box mine came in said the unit may have minor cosmetic blemishes but the unit looks brand new and came with the remote batteries, speaker wire labels......

Do you remember what your's said on the side of the box as to why it was refurbished?

how many days it took for you to get yours since ordering? I am trying to figure how fast onkyo ships and when would I get mine..

Ordered mine on 11/30/2012 and got it 12/05/2012.

I checked the status, it still says " prepared for shipping" .
Did you ever get a shipping notice or even a tracking number?
