For my friend, he asked me to buy a 60D (beginner). It took me a while to find that deal. I wished I ordered 2 that time (I thought I can flip the other for a good price) but by the time I tried to add a second set to my cart, its dead already. I can not justify spending more on a camera for myself. I have an old Pentax KX with SMC DA* 50-135mm and SMC FA 50mm 1.4 which are picking some dust.

Yes! Thank you And with Canon's revolving deals, especially with printers, it is easy not to spend money on upgrades. I put out about $450 for a T2i I believe 2 years ago, and have made money with every subsequent upgrade. I started with the T2i and now have...60D + 70-300mm, 50mm, 40mm, and 18-135mm. Also had another 70-300 that I gave to my brother for a gift (that wasn't an upgrade so much as just a buy and resell of the camera, keep lens for free).

Nice. Too bad the printer is OOS from Amazon otherwise I will get that as well.

Not that hot, 60d w/18-200 was 1099 about year and a half ago tax free.

Best buy has the 60d body for the same, just picked on up Wednesday

I bought the 60d with the 18-200 lens for $909 including sales tax. It is marked as a refurb from their Black Friday deal The shutter has only 12 actuations so its new and the lens hadnt even been taken out of the plastic
But in that price is pretty good as I was waiting for a Lightening deal from Amazon but decided to buy in case I missed the deal and be left with no Xmas present
